Pat and Karen Warren have been a part of Grace Harbor for many years. After taking a short term missions trip with the church, Pat and Karen began to feel the call to missions work. Soon after, they loaded up their family and headed to language school in El Carmen, Mexico. This was a big step of faith. But because of their willingness to obey God many hundreds of people have been blessed by their ministry efforts.
Today Pat and Karen are heading a ministry hub called Casa de Gloria. Casa de Gloria was established in 1999 in the tropical, mountainous region of the rainforest town of San Andres, Tuxtla, Veracruz, Mexico.
The ongoing ministry of this growing church family includes weekly Bible study groups, Sunday morning celebration services, monthly hospital visitations, an alcoholic street ministry, teaching English as a second language, water purification systems that help to provide clean water to the public at little or no cost, an evangelistic film ministry in rural communities, a video Bible school, teaching personal hygiene to help prevent disease as well as raising up young Mexicans to be missionaries to other parts of the world. Each of these ministries allow the Warrens and the members of Casa de Gloria to touch the lives of their fellow Mexicans in practical ways while offering the life changing power of God.
